Since Maria Grazia Chiuri took over as the creative director of Dior's women's wear, she has created numerous handbags that are hard for girls to resist. In early 2021, Dior once again released a new bagStyle called Caro Chain Tote with a flip-top design. Inspired by Lecce, the birthplace of Maria's father, it combines global known light sculpture art and indigo printingTechnology, giving Caro a different look. The name of the bag is taken from Catherine Dior, sister of Christian Dior, who used the nickname Caro during WWII. Made from high-quality fine calf leather, it features a checkered pattern with 18,000 stitches and is embossed with the brand's initials CD on the inside. The flip-top opening is equipped with a metal hook in the shape of CD, and there is a 30 Montaigne stamped logo on the back. The detachable, adjustable CD chain strap, paired with an army-style Christian Dior buckle, adds to its versatility. Inside, it has a zippered pocket and patch pockets.
